It has been raining in Virginia all day, so I thought I would try to add a little sunshine with a few pictures of this amazing beach house! I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when I saw this house in New York Spaces magazine this weekend! Talking about some serious color eye candy! This spectacular Stone Harbor beach house was decorated by Cinnie May of JBM Designs.
Speechless over this over dyed ikat rug...
Cannot get enough of the bright colors! From the lampshades to the kitchen chairs....WOWZER!
Another over dyed rug...stop me!!
How can one beach house have three spectacular rugs and I cannot even own one? Something is wrong with that, right?
What a killer color combination in the bedroom...and the touches of gold are calling my name!
I am in awe of the way the designer mixed bright colors and patterns with such perfection throughout these rooms! Check out more pics of the house here- New York Spaces Magazine.
Hope these pictures added a little sunshine to your week!

Love the bright colors these rugs have especially in the second and third picture! I'll take one of each please :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun is this house?! Love the yellow. It's rainy here too... kind of dreadful actually. Wish I was in a bright space like that one. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love this house! It is the perfect balance of color and white! I agree.... share the wealth so we can all have rugs!
ReplyDeleteyou are so right - that house is like a ray of sunshine!!!
ReplyDeleteThe bright colors are awesome. Now I want my own beach house so I can decorate it nice and bright. So many beach houses are drab. For some reason I feel like they are mostly brown for the sand and blue for the ocean and pastels to match the beach, but this house is spectacular. It is like the sun! Good find.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how I found your blog, but I am glad I did. I have very similar design taste as you ladies. Seeing all these fab bold designs you feature makes me more confident about the design choices I've made for my house. I often question it....so thanks for the shot of confidence to go bold and make it fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining all day in washington so this was a fabulous post for many reasons to read today!
ReplyDeleteI love the third picture! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog! This beach house is right up your alley, Vash. The bold colors...I wish I could be so brave!!
